Same here. Though I went to an international school, and we had a policy to always speak english to the point I spoke english better than my Indonesian language. When I worked at in a quite luxury retail store, my mentor had to train extra hard with me so that I can speak indonesian better. I can still speak both, it's just that I spoke english way better than my native language.
