I took a work life balance job, but that didn't stop me from doing my side projects/business. Heck, I was even working on weekends.

I think it really depends on some people on whether they like their jobs or not or would like to do something extra. In the end, everyone has their own path. But one thing for sure is that we have to make sure that once we retire, we still have money in our bank account.
