I Felt Bad For Amber Heard
Isn’t one war already enough?
Yea, you read that right.
I actually felt bad for Amber Heard.
Now, I’m not pitying her because she lost her trial. The judge gave their verdicts, the evidence showed what truly happened, and both sides presented their case as much as possible.
But recently, I saw a piece of news where Amber had to sell her home after being told that she must pay Johnny Depp for the defamation trial. And then, somehow, the news is picking up about this case again.
And to think that she had to sell her home kinda makes me feel a little bad for her.
Internet Hate
Don’t get me wrong.
I do believe she wronged Johnny Depp too for her lies that made his career go downhill, and abusing is just not right.
What didn’t help her as well was the interview she did after the trial. In a way, she was digging her own grave.
If you’ve seen any Youtube videos about her, the dislike meter kept exceeding the likes. The comment sections are also horded with hates for her.
In short, she’s got no fans who got her back.
And I think it’s the same goes for companies.
Career Crash
Companies tend to follow what the customers want, so hiring her would be a very tough decision.
I don’t know how many studios are considering her for their movies, but the fact that Warnes Bros is planning to cut her part to only 2 minutes in the upcoming Aqua Man 2 says something.
If Warner Bros is willing to cut down her part, imagine what other studios would do.
It’s hard to fix a lot of these damage controls, and her image is already ruined in this trial.
Unlike Johnny Depp’s case last year, the public believed that he was innocent ever since that tape of their argument was released.
So even if the companies do drop him, the fans have his back.
I don’t know how much Amber has learned from the trial, or where her moral compass now lies, but I think it’s safe to say that she has received a lot of internet hate already. Not to mention, her career seems to be on the line now.
But the fact that she’s selling her home to pay Johnny speaks volumes.
A Child to Raise
About a year ago, I saw on the news that she had a baby and she’s a surrogate parent.
This made me even worried, with her career on the line, how will she raise her child?
More importantly, how will the child be raised by her? If she truly is an abuser (maybe she changed) to Johnny Depp, then I hope she will treat the kid differently and show her more kindness and love.
But I’m not a psychic who can see the future, so it’s not my place to judge how Amber will turn out and how she’ll raise the kid.
I don’t know how the kid will turn out, but I do hope that the kid will turn out good and that she won’t be judged by the sins of her mother.
And yea, that was a Game of Thrones quote.
I don’t think Johnny should accept her payment
I know, I know.
Another controversial stuff, but hear me out first. You can share your thoughts later.
Knowing Johnny publicly, who mostly represents humbleness and kindness, I think he is capable of forgiveness.
There’s this piece of news I watched about the “House of Horrors” where 12 kids were abused for their whole lives until one of the children finally escaped to call 911 in 2019.
At the end of the trial, the children did not seem to have grudges toward their parents. Rather they hope that they can change, that they forgave them and that they still love them.
You may not believe them, but I think the kid sounds genuine in what they said to their parents.
After seeing this, I think Johnny would do something like this too.
It is also said that Johnny may not be taking Amber’s money, and I think that is a better choice.
Whatever his reasons are for not wanting the money, I too support that decision. I think at that point, he must’ve considered the money as “dirty” already.
Plus, seeing that he has high emotional intelligence, he knows what it was like to be in her place. So I don’t he’d want her money, and I like to think that he tried to make peace with her, just hoping for the best and all.
Overall….
People can change for the better or worse.
In Amber’s case, I do believe she can change for the better one day. Especially since she’s got a baby to raise.
I don’t know how she is handling the online hates now, and quite frankly, it has been a long time since the trial, but I think she had had enough of them already.
Perhaps we can stop the online hate for now, and let her resolve this battle on her own as a grown adult.
However she wants to run her life, it’s up to her. But one thing is for sure, she has a lot of damage control to fix (especially online), little to no fans who support her, a kid to raise, and a career and financial status probably on the line.
And that’s why I felt bad for her.
