It took a year for me to understand what SEO is for blogging.
I’m not joking. I thought it was like a hashtag for Instagram. Keywords? What does that even mean? That’s how clueless I was until I read articles after articles to finally understand it. I even watched YouTube videos.
If you are a new writer just hearing about the concept of SEO, here is a brief introduction to SEO. I’m not going into full details or technicalities — just basic information about this, so you get the concept before heading into in-depth information about SEO.
I am going…
I am a fan of Steven Spielberg. He is the man who inspired me to join the film industry for all the spectacular movies he had ever made. He is the director of movies such as Jurassic Park, ET, Indiana Jones, and Ready Player One.
I still remember watching Jurassic Park for the first time as a kid. The majestic effects of bringing the dinosaurs to life, combined with CGI and John William’s music made my movie experience the best. It was a true blockbuster movie.
For those who aren’t familiar with the term blockbuster, it’s a term used in…
This was where I first learned about the world of Multi-Level Marketing, better known as MLM.
From my experience in this, I learned nothing about marketing or the company’s visions. It’s mostly about getting hooked to the product.
A few months ago, I was invited by an old friend — whom I have not been in contact with for more than six years — to join this seminar about selling a product that can help you get more income.
But after a while, I felt something really fishy in the seminar. …
Stephen King is a genius writer. He has been writing for a really long time and his works managed to reach the big screen, which made even more hits for him.
About two years ago, he and George R.R. Martin had a conversation with each other about consistent writing.
Now, for anyone who has read The Song of Ice and Fire, George has not even finished the books. His last book from the series is A Dance With Dragons, and it stopped with a cliffhanger there since 2011. Now that the T.V. …
One of the reasons I admire Elon so much is because he is a very honest man. In most of his tweets or interviews, it’s rare to see his body language as BS and we can really feel that very much.
I admire when he posted about his own products as well because most weren’t forced nor rubbing it at our faces to tell us to buy them. Instead, he was being really honest about it such as the day he announced to the world that he was selling his flamethrowers.
We’ve all seen Ryan Reynolds’ ad that kept us hooked on his videos and had us sit through the entire one-minute-long ad.
And we’ve also seen how Elon Musk didn’t use any form of marketing to sell his tequilas and flamethrowers, and yet people are still willing to buy them.
While when we see ads on Youtube or Instagram, we tend to skip nearly everything and are not convinced to buy any of them. Influencers might help, but that alone isn’t enough to convince people to buy your products.
Why is that?
It’s not because Ryan Reynolds and Elon Musk…
Ever since the “Rich Dad Poor Dad” books appeared, they were one of the book series that blows up in the self-help and financial industries. People were reading the books on getting rich, staying positive, and all the same crap you hear in the self-help world.
At first, it looked OK when he wrote about this because I read them too. I like his equation about self-employment, entrepreneurship, investments, etc. It makes sense.
However, ever since that book was released, there has been a flood of people who claim the same thing as “Rich Dad.” …
Note: Everyone’s mental health is different, so if you do really need a psychiatrist because your mental health is really taking a toll to the point you are drawn to suicide or in need of medication, by all means, please contact a psychiatrist.
For the past few months, I have been speaking to my best friends in Canada nearly every Sunday. These sessions were to indirectly help my mind stay sane in this pandemic.
Before I had these sessions, I was in my worst state.
On the weekdays, sometimes I’d get anxious or worried about the work I did and…
For over one year, I have rarely listened to music with lyrics now.
Some people had already asked me about this when I played the choice of music in my car. As they were waiting for the lyrics, the words never came, and they were stuck to listen to the amplified melodies only.
Even when I work or am relaxing, I just don’t listen to any music with lyrics on them. My new choice of music now is instrumental music such as classical and orchestral. The song is soothing and peaceful, making you feel like you are in a movie.
As the pandemic hit the world, and there is still no clear information when things will go back to the way it is, businesses have been hit really hard.
That’s when the fake gurus, crypto, and stocks “advisers” and “entrepreneurs” wanna-be people boasting about their success amplifying their voices. They’re just everywhere now.
In their social media or face-to-face with you, they’d tell you how you were a loser like you and now they made thousands of dollars every day without working for anyone, how they work for themselves….. yadayadayada.
You get the point….
